Supporting members re-starting production and needing to social distance and reassure employees ZOOM meeting 1st May 1pm REPEATED 15th May 1pm
Following very positive feedback from our initial interactive and informative session we are repeating it on the 15th May at 1pm
We know a good number of members have continued production throughout the COVID19 pandemic. Others ceased and are now considering opening up again and have challenges relating to their own and their employees’ concerns.
We are planning a ZOOM meeting to give the opportunity to meet other local manufacturers, hear from some who have remained open, ask questions of them and our specialist advisers about the challenges – not just H&S but employee behaviours and management as people adjust to working together again.
Everyone has risk assessments but staff will be reassured by any additional plan and information about working safely together in the current situation which is not ‘business as usual’.
If you have any specific questions/concerns please let us know in advance so we can endeavour to cover most topics – if you have a question chances are someone else is thinking the same! These could relate to:
- Social distancing practicalities
- Travelling to and from/arriving/leaving work
- Personal care and facilities
- First aid/emergency response
- Riddor reporting Safety of equipment/testing after non-use
- PPE equipment
CKMA have engaged with Brook Corporate Developments Ltd to bring together specialists in H&S and HR to offer helpful, practical advice to our members. Maybe you have questions you would like to ask or you have continued to work throughout and are happy to share your experience with other members?
NUMBERS WILL BE LIMITED Zoom meeting taking place on Friday 1st May at 1pm To express your interest in attending or to ask a question please email here or call Philippa on 077 027 96020 STAY SAFE!
