Camira are award winning textile innovators who design and manufacture 10 million metres of contract performance fabrics per year for use in commercial interiors and mass passenger transport for bus, coach, rail and underground.
The company spins its own yarns and manufactures its own fabrics at sites in Huddersfield, Nottingham and in Lithuania, plus has a network of overseas offices in Europe, USA, Australia and Asia Pacific, supporting global sales into 80 countries worldwide.
A current holder of the Queens Award for Sustainable Development, Camira is a pioneer in environmental textiles made from recycled and rapidly renewable raw materials including industry firsts made from harvested nettles, hemp and flax. The company employs roughly 650 people.
